Matt is a versatile and experienced Editor with credits in BAFTA award winning drama and a career spanning TV, film, VFX and games. Over the past several years, Matt worked on high end television drama, documentary and feature film projects, including S*!T, which was selected in an Oscar & BIFA qualifying festival (LSFF), the Amazon Prime feature, The Moment Trap and the popular Channel 5 series, Bargain-Loving Brits in the Sun.

As a BBC trained Editor, Matt began his career in 2007 as an Assistant Editor on the BAFTA award winning series, Fanny Hill, BBC, later working on Terry Pratchett’s Sky series, The Colour of Magic, where he managed a team of over 800 VFX artists across five facilities in London and Paris. This led to a BAFTA nomination for Best Visual Effects.

Matt also worked in-house as the head of the editorial department at the Oscar-winning facility, The Mill. In this role, he oversaw the editing process from storyboarding to final picture, including the edits of VFX and live-action content for worldwide campaigns and promos.

In addition, Matt has cut a number of documentaries for Channel 4, including the record-breaking series, Tattoo Twists, which gave rise Tattoo Fixers. He also edited the docuseries Body ModsThe Bizarre Fetish Handbook, available on Apple TV +.

Matt holds an MA in VFX and Post Production from Ravensbourne University, as well as a degree in TV Production from Kensington & Chelsea College. He is available to work both in-house and remotely.
